2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups sliced strawberries
1 cup half and half
2 Tbl. flour
2 Tbl. melted butter
1 unbaked pie shell, 9 inch
Mix sugar, flour, and salt. Add half and half, slightly beaten
eggs, and melted butter. Blend well. Sprinkle sliced strawberries
with small amount of sugar, a sprinkle of cinnamon or fresh
grated nutmeg and stir well. Place strawberries into bottom of
pie shell. Pour mixture over strawberries. Sprinkle top with
very small amount of cinnamon. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes
then turn down to 325 degrees and bake until custard is set.
